Azita Ghanizada. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has participated in numerous TV shows. She is an Afghan American actress from Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her home country her family, they moved towards in the US. They were given asylum in the US and permitted to stay. She was raised by her two sisters living in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her TV career through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for the most outstanding actress in the 2004 film festival for her performance in the Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she was the character Chiara. Television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recently, Ghanizada played in a variety of independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 as well as the science-fiction action film Blood Shot. Ghanizada has been cast in her role in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital which was telecast on primetime television. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada play Doctor.
